What this is

Your Brand Assistant is a lead-magnet business. We offer free tools and sourced content in exchange for your email address and a little context about your shop. That data lets us send you the artifact you requested, follow it with relevant tips, and — eventually — tell you about one of our three paid apps when it fits your situation. We are direct about that exchange, and this page explains exactly how it works.

What we collect

When you use a free tool or access the assistant, we ask for:

• —Email address — to deliver your artifact and send follow-up tips. Lawful basis: consent.
• —First name — personalisation in emails. Lawful basis: consent.
• —Shop name — personalisation and persona signal. Lawful basis: consent.
• —Etsy shop URL (optional) — to personalise follow-up with analysis of your actual shop.
• —Persona — the seller type you declare at capture (e.g. digital downloads, POD). Used for email segmentation only.
• —Source tool — which free tool or article brought you here. Captured server-side for attribution.

Every form carries this inline notice: "We'll use this to send your artifact, plus relevant tips. Unsubscribe anytime."

What we do not collect

• —IP addresses in long-term storage — used only in 24-hour rate-limit counters, then discarded.
• —Third-party tracking pixels — no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel, no Hotjar. Site analytics run on Cloudflare Analytics: edge-aggregated and privacy-respecting.
• —Pre-gate inputs — tool inputs from sessions that did not complete email capture are hashed for rate-limiting and dropped. No plaintext stored.
• —Payment information — we never handle billing. Paid apps (Elistit, RatioReady, My Next Listing) operate on their own domains and manage their own payments.
• —Sensitive personal data — no date of birth, government IDs, health data, or financial account details.

How we use it

• —Artifact delivery — the immediate result you requested (banner, score, tag analysis).
• —Nurture sequence — a 5–7 email series relevant to your declared persona. Max 1 email per 48 hours from the studio.
• —Sunday Brief — a weekly newsletter after the initial sequence completes.
• —Conversion attribution — we track whether a lead became a paid customer of one of the three apps, using UTM parameters and email matching. This is how we know what works.
• —Content improvement — anonymised, aggregated assistant Q&A pairs inform future articles and tool improvements. Individual records are deleted after 90 days.

Your rights

• —Unsubscribe — one-click link in every email, always.
• —Right to deletion — reply to any email or email [email protected]. Executed within 7 days.
• —Right to data export — request everything we hold on you, delivered within 7 days.
• —Persona-only emails — you only receive emails relevant to the persona you declared. We do not cross-sell across unrelated topics.

We comply with GDPR (lawful basis: consent and legitimate interest) and CCPA. Data is stored in Cloudflare D1 (US-based, edge-protected).

Privacy requests
